The Anima Method 30-Day Challenge, a neuroaffirming program for ADHD and AuDHD women, starts 2 November

Sound familiar?

Maybe it feels like everything sets you off.

What if none of this was ever a character flaw, just a nervous system that has been overwhelmed for a long time, finally being understood?

What if you stopped asking...
"Why can't I just control myself?"
And started asking...
"What is actually happening in my nervous system when I get to that point?"

The Anima Method starts from a different place. Instead of white-knuckling through overwhelm and replaying it in shame afterwards, we start by understanding what is actually happening underneath, in your brain, your body and your nervous system, before it ever reaches a meltdown.

Brain→Body→Patterns→Behaviour

Why a challenge

Understanding sticks when you do it together.

Many ADHD brains need other people to get started and keep going. It's called body doubling, and it's why a daily rhythm with a group works so much better than good intentions alone. So we do it together: one video and one small worksheet a day, a group moving through it with you, and me in the room.

Small

Fifteen people, not fifteen hundred. You will be known, and nobody gets lost in the crowd.

Daily

One short, ADHD-friendly video and one worksheet a day, in your own time.

Supported

A private WhatsApp group, a live call every week and a 1:1 call with me.

Your 30 days

One small step a day.

Each week has a theme. Every day you get one short, ADHD-friendly video and a worksheet or journal page to go with it, and once a week we meet live.

Week 1

Understand

How your nervous system works, where your window of tolerance sits, and what happens when you leave it. Meet your fight, flight, freeze and fawn patterns, your meltdowns and your shutdowns.

Week 2

Regulate

Body-first tools for when your window narrows. Build your own Meltdown and Shutdown Plan and a sensory toolkit that actually fits you.

Week 3

Capacity

How your cycle, your energy and your executive function shift through the month, and how to design a minimum viable day for the hard days.

Week 4

The inner layer

Shame, rejection sensitivity and the thinking traps behind the spiral, and how to answer your inner critic with something kinder and more accurate.

Bonus

Integrate

Look back at where you started, redo your check-ins, and build a one-page toolkit you can use long after the 30 days.

What you walk away with

Not just understanding. Things you can use.

01

A map of your own nervous system

Your window of tolerance, your early warning signs, and the things that push you out of it.

02

Your Meltdown and Shutdown Plan

Written while you're calm, ready for when you're not, including how to repair afterwards with the people you love.

03

A toolkit that fits your senses

Regulation skills you have actually tried, and a sensory toolkit built from your own inventory.

04

A month of capacity data

Your energy, focus and sensitivity tracked across the month, so you can plan around your capacity instead of fighting it.

05

Kinder answers for the inner critic

Tools for shame, rejection sensitivity and thinking traps, so the voice that says you're failing loses some of its power.

06

A one-page toolkit

Your own "when this happens, go here" guide, to keep using long after the 30 days.

Let's be honest

What this is, and what it isn't.

This is not a quick fix. I can't promise you will never have another meltdown, and nothing here replaces therapy or medical care. What I can promise is understanding, tools you will have actually tried, and a small group of people doing it alongside you. Understanding often changes how you meet the hard days, and whether you blame yourself for them.

This is for you if

  • You have just been diagnosed with ADHD or Autism, suspect you might be neurodivergent, or have known for years and still don't understand your own brain.
  • You want to understand your meltdowns, shutdowns and shame, not just manage them.
  • You do better with other people and a daily rhythm than on your own.
  • You can give about half an hour a day, and forgive yourself when you can't.

This isn't for you if

  • You need urgent or ongoing mental health care. This supports therapy and does not replace it.
  • You want a quick fix, or a guarantee of results.
  • You want a fully self-paced course. A recorded version is planned for later.
  • You're looking for a crisis service. The WhatsApp group is for support, not emergencies.

Serena Parisi
Licensed Counsellor, Therapist and Coach

Hi, I'm Serena.

For most of my life, I felt too much, was too sensitive, and everything around me moved too slowly. I felt dysregulated all the time, overwhelmed, frustrated, stuck in cycles I couldn't seem to break. I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety, and I believed my life was just harder than most.

Finally diagnosed at 32, I learned about my brain and my nervous system, and it all made sense. I wasn't broken. I was trying to fit into a world that wasn't built for a brain like mine.

I now work with neurodivergent brains through workshops, events and individual therapy. This challenge is everything I wish someone had walked me through, one small step at a time.

Risk-free

7-day refund guarantee.

If the challenge isn't right for you, email me within 7 days of the start date, or within 7 days of joining if you join after it begins, and I'll refund you in full. No explanation needed.

Questions

Before you join.

Do I need a diagnosis?

No. The challenge is for anyone who has been diagnosed, suspects they might be ADHD or Autistic, or is simply exploring. Your experience is valid with or without a formal label.

I'm newly diagnosed and overwhelmed. Is this too much, too soon?

It's designed for exactly that moment. Each day is one video and one worksheet, and nothing is graded. If a day is too much, skip it and come back when you can.

How much time does it take?

Plan for about half an hour a day: a video of up to 20 minutes and a short worksheet. There is also one live call a week, which is recorded if you can't make it.

What if I fall behind?

The videos and worksheets stay available throughout the challenge, so you can catch up whenever you like. Nothing is graded, and you can't get it wrong.

What if I can't make the live calls?

They're recorded and saved so you can watch them whenever suits you. I'll set the day and time before we start.

Who will be in the WhatsApp group, and is it private?

Up to 15 participants and me. WhatsApp shows members' phone numbers to the group, so please join with a number you're comfortable sharing. We'll agree at the start that what is shared in the group stays in the group.

Is this therapy?

No. The challenge is education and coaching to help you understand your nervous system. It does not replace therapy, medical care or diagnosis, and the WhatsApp group is not a crisis service. If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency number or visit findahelpline.com for a free, confidential helpline in your country.

How does the refund guarantee work?

Email me within 7 days of the start date, or within 7 days of joining if you join after it begins, and I'll refund you in full. No explanation needed.

What happens after the 30 days?

You keep the workbook and your notes. I'll share what comes next with the group, including a recorded version of the challenge for people who prefer to go at their own pace.

30-day challenge

Start on 2 November.

15 spots. Enrolment closes Friday 30 October, or when the group is full.

P.S.

I know what it's like to want to understand yourself and also want to hide under a blanket. Looking closely at your hardest moments is a lot. You don't have to do it perfectly, and you don't have to do it alone.

This challenge is for education and personal growth. It is not therapy and is not a substitute for medical or mental health care. If you are struggling right now, please also reach out to a doctor, a therapist or a crisis line in your area. You deserve support beyond a challenge too.
